Taken at our home in Revelstoke, BC. A morning listening to jazz, cooking New Zealand styled pancakes and playing dress up.
It was painted as something entirely different, at first. It was something that could be defined as confined. It had distant shapes of various sizes and colours. Something unusual. But then, one morning, I woke up and started to stare at the panels and in 1.5 hours the canvas looked like this. It was from the heart, it was passionate and intuitive.
A collaborative piece, done with John Coleman, Siri Bright & Lara Shea. Designed to fit overtop of the T.V that's hung above the mantle. 4 day project.
Made in less than 1.5 hours.
